Oralia O. Zamarripa, 67 years of age, passed away on January 20, 2023, from injuries sustained in an automobile pedestrian accident. Oralia was a housewife and beloved mother and grandmother. She was born on December 11, 1955, in San Antonio, Texas to Isabel and Paula L. Ortiz.  She loved playing chalupa and bingo. She always enjoyed dancing and loved music. Oralia had an endless love for her children and grandchildren.  She had a special love for the Adult Daycare family and staff.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Soto Zamarripa; one brother, Guadalupe Ortiz; one sister, Olga Garcia and one grandson, Isaac Lee Vela.

Survivors include three sons, Jose Juan Zamarripa of Alice, Texas, Jose (Rebecca “Becky”) Zamarripa Jr. Alice, Texas, Antonio (Julie) Zamarripa of Kingsville, Texas; three daughters of Alicia (Michael) Gonzalez of Alice, Texas, Mary Ann Zamarripa Newton of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Jessica (Jesse Gonzalez) Zamarripa of Alice, Texas. Her companion Jose Angel Cantu of Alice, Texas, four brothers, Reyes (Delma) Ortiz, Isabel (Adele) Ortiz Jr., Francisco (Diana) Ortiz and Luis Ortiz all of Corpus Christi, Texas; three sisters, Paula Cavazos, Maria Serrano, and Yolanda Luna all of Corpus Christi, Texas; 20 grandchildren and 27 great- grandchildren.

Family will receive friends and relatives at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, January 27, 2023, at Rosas Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home chapel with services concluding at the chapel.
