Ronald Davy Ward, age 80, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born December 13, 1942, in Freer, Texas to Edward Buster Ward and Galatha Eveangeline Paris Ward.

He retired from 48 years at Fesco as district manager in Laredo, Texas. He began Fesco in Alice, Texas and moved in early 70s to Laredo, Texas. He has a street, DAVY WARD, named after him for all of his hard work over the years. 
He retired and moved to Lake Corpus Christi where he enjoyed mowing his lawn, being at the lake, being with his family and watching the Dallas Cowboys (when they won). He also loved watching UT football and the spurs. Davy was the best dad, husband, loving person, a counselor to many and most important, a God-fearing man who we will see in heaven. Love you dad. 

Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Edward Buster Ward; mother, Galatha Evangeline Paris Ward and his brother Edwin Ward

He is survived by his loving wife, Janis Kay Ward; sister, Patrica Ward Brady; daughters, Denise Ward Praesel, Robin Watersong, Michele Ward and Kelli Risinger; grandchildren, Taylor Ross, Makae Praesel, Walker Ward Whitley, Miles Garcia, Jaidyn Ward Vaughn Morgan Risinger ; great grandson, Beckham Ross and one on the way that he was excited about, Ashton Cravioto-Praesel.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 20, 2023 at Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 E. Main St. Alice, Texas 78332. All Services will conclude at the funeral home.
