Hipolito M. Garcia – 87 years of age passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022, after a short and sudden illness. He was born on August 4, 1935, to Antonio and Toribia M. Garcia. He was a self-taught carpenter. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He always looked forward to having his children together. In his spare time, he could be found stringing his guitar, playing his accordion. His family will forever cherish his memories and will pray for his eternal rest.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and his beloved wife Maria Morales Garcia.

Survivors include two sons Antonio (Jaqueline “Candi”) Garcia of Monette Arkansas, Jose (Xiomara)Garcia of Senath, Missouri and two daughters Maria (Hector) Elizondo of Garland, Texas and Evelia Garcia of Alice, Texas. Other survivors include seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at 5:00 P.M. at Rosas Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. that same evening. Funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at the Rosas Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Alice Cemetery. Israel Hernandez and Armando Calderon will officiate the services.
