LEDESMA – Rogelio “Roy” Ledesma 57 years of age passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August25, 1965 to Roberto and Jesusa Ledesma. He worked with the City of Alice in the maintenance department with the Parks and Recreation division. Worked and medical retired after 15 years from SNBL.

Roy was preceded in death by both of his parents; his sisters, Alma Garza, Angie Flores and brother Arturo Pena; brother-in-law, Amador Garza and his great aunt Marta (Madrina) Charles and sister-in-law, Marisa Vargas.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years of marriage, Elfida “Ellie” Ledesma of Alice, Texas; one son, Micheal Rogelio Ledesma of Alice, Texas; one daughter, Leslie Ann (B.J. Barrera) of Alice, Texas; four stepdaughters, Ida Lisa (Albert) Salas, Maricela (Robert) Joslin, Jessica (Oscar) Herrera and Veronica (Miguel) Chapa all of Alice, Texas; three granddaughters, Lana Jade Kawamura and Skylah Leann Barrera and Aliyah Mariah Bowen and numerous of other grandchildren. Other survivors include his siblings, Aminta Charles from Bakersfield, California, Amparo Gonzalez also from Bakersfield, Albesa (Moe) Hernandez from California, Miroslava (Jay) Garcia of Corpus Christi, Texas, Robert (Corina) Ledesma Jr. from San Diego, Texas, Carolina (Aris) Beltran from Alice, Texas, Mel Ledesma, his twin sister, from San Diego, Texas and Nati (Carol) Rios from Alice, Texas.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Church of the Overcomer, located at 3310 E. Main St. on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 2:00 pm.
