Margarita Albiar Joslin “Nena” entered eternal rest

September 19, 2022 in Alice, Texas. She was born January 25, 1937 in Alice, Texas to Tomas and Francisca Albiar. Nena had a strong work ethic. She began working in convenient stores Alice Mini Mart, Economy and later owned and operated, along with her husband, Chachos Club for 32 years. Nena had a love for playing bingo, chalupa and the maquinitas. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tomas and Francisca Albiar; husband, Juan Jose Joslin Sr.; son, Nelson Joslin; brothers, Celso Albiar, Tomas Albiar, and Frank Albiar; sister, Dalia Estraca; and granddaughter, Amanda Infante.

She is survived by her children, Romana “Mona” Ramirez of Alice, Arlene Teetzel (Teryn Hart) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Juan “J.J.” Joslin Jr. (Brenda) of Alice, and Annabelle Ramirez (Jesus Garza) of Alice; daughter-in-law, Linda Joslin of Alice; sister, Elsa Rodriguez (Ramon) of Alice; brother-in-law, Rene Joslin (Noemi) of Alice; sisters-in law, Magdalena Joslin of Alice and Criselda Albiar of Weslaco; 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 5 till 9 p.m. at Rosas Funeral Home with a holy rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. that evening. A funeral mass was celebrated Friday, September 23, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial followed at Neneral arrangements entruw Collins Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Robert Santos, Christopher Teetzel, Juan Joslin III, Adrian Joslin, Nelson Joslin Jr., J.M. Luna, Cristina Joslin, and Jennifer Infante.
