David R. Garcia

David R. Garcia (nicknamed “Foco” by his auto body shop friends), age 58, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022, in a Corpus Christ Hospital following an extended illness. David was born November 23, 1963, to Antonio A. Garcia, Sr. and Guadalupe (“Lupita”) R. Garcia in Alice, Texas. David loved to be with his family, especially his granddaughter.

He enjoyed playing pool, loved the beach and camping at the beach. David loved working on cars where he took a great passion in doing bodywork. He was always proud of his work when he saw a vehicle he worked on, driving around in town.

David loved music, singing and wanted to learn how to play the acoustic guitar, but seemed to never have time to learn it. His laugh and smile were infectious so much so that everyone knew exactly who it was by his laugh. David will be greatly missed by his family and everyone who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Abel B. Garcia.
