CORPUS CHRISTI – Watco’s newest short line, the Texas Coastal Bend Railroad (TCBR), unveiled two locomotives emblazoned with the Port of Corpus Christi logo at a ribbon-cutting ceremony today. The locomotives are part of Watco’s five locomotive investment that will serve multiple customers at the Port of Corpus Christi.
On Monday, Aug. 1, Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar said state sales tax revenue totaled $3.88 billion in July, 14.7 percent more than in July 2021, and the highest monthly collections on record.
