Texas Sues Biden Admin for Forcing Hospitals to Commit Abortions
AUSTIN — Texas sued the Biden administration Thursday for threatening hospitals to either commit abortions or risk losing their Medicaid and Medicare funds. Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services sent a letter on Monday to hospitals and doctors across the country trying to expand abortion.

New charge for suspect in double homicide
The San Diego man accused of murdering two young women on July 1 was recently charged with the endangerment of a child - criminal negligence. As of Tuesday morning, 42-year-old Alejandro Lopez of San Diego remains in the Jim Wells County jail and has a total bond of $2,536,500.
Keith Oscar Barrera
Keith Oscar Barrera- 27 years of age passed away on June 26, 2022, in Alice, Texas, after a sudden illness. Keith was born on February 3, 1995, in Houston, Texas. Keith was a simple young man. He enjoyed simple things that came available to him during his short life. Keith was a bright young man that always wanted to make everyone around him happy. Keith always managed to make the best of the situation and with one thing in mind, that it be “the Best way “and in the correct pass to God. In the last years of his life, Keith found peace and guidance with the Aguilar family, who took him under their wings and gave him unconditional love and support to over come many obstacles that he encountered. He above all learn to value life and seek God for answers.
John “Morris” Walker
After spending Wednesday working his Brahman cows with family, John “Morris” Walker passed away peacefully Thursday morning July 14, 2022 at the age of 80. He was born in Poteet, Tx December 21, 1941 to parents James Raymond “Papa Jake” and Jane Warnek “Nana” Walker.
