Keith Oscar Barrera – 27 years of age passed away on June 26, 2022, in Alice, Texas, after a sudden illness. Keith was born on February 3, 1995, in Houston, Texas. Keith was a simple young man. He enjoyed simple things that came available to him during his short life. Keith was a bright young man that always wanted to make everyone around him happy. Keith always managed to make the best of the situation and with one thing in mind, that it be “the Best way “and in the correct pass to God. In the last years of his life, Keith found peace and guidance with the Aguilar family, who took him under their wings and gave him unconditional love and support to over come many obstacles that he encountered. He above all learn to value life and seek God for answers.

Keith was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Louis Barrera.

He is survived by his parents, Nestor and Dalia Aguilar of Alice, Texas; his stepfather, Michael Aguilar of Alice, Texas; his biological mother, Theresa Barrera of San Antonio, Texas; his twin brother, Kenneth (Sierra Solis) Barrera of Alice, Texas; one uncle, Nestor Aguilar Jr. of Alice, Texas; two aunts, Dalia Marissa Aguilar of Kentucky and Tabitha (J. Carmen) Rodriguez of Houston, Texas; one great grand uncle, Juan (Olga) Barrera of Alice, Texas and maternal grandmother, Kathleen C. Barrera of San Antonio, Texas.

Visitation will be held at Rosas Funeral Home on Friday, June 15, 2022, at 8:30 A.M. Funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:00 am to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 A.M. Inurnment will follow at the Alice Cemetery.
