Nola Renee Morales was taken from us at the age of 36 years to be with the Lord on Friday, July 1, 2022. She was born in Alice, Texas on April 15, 1986 to her parents, Ernesto Lee “Ernie” and Edna Morales. In 2003 she was crowned Miss Pan De Campo, the Major for the San Diego Drill Team, and an all-around athlete, playing golf, volleyball and softball. Nola graduated with honors from San Diego High School, class of 2004, she was a member of the NHS and competed in UIL. She enjoyed life to its fullness and loved dancing, karaoke, and loved joking around, doing pranks and having fun. Nola was a free spirit, vibrant, carefree, independent, strong, caring, and trusting person. Her children were everything to her…her world…and there was nothing she wouldn’t do for them. Nola was the person who shed light on the family during gatherings, you just knew she was there! Her laugh was contagious, you couldn’t help but laugh with her, and our family will never be the same without her. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and aunt who will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
Nola is survived by her children, Jaden Luke Anthony Godines, Zachary Ryan Godines, Nolayna Jayzee Luvay Garcia and Daxton Nolan Worth Perez; her parents, Ernesto Lee and Edna Morales; two brothers, Ruben Baldemar Galvan III, Juan Jose (Sarah) Galvan; two sisters, Sasha Jenee (Octavio) Mayorga, Chelsea Lee (Rosalinda) Morales; nieces and nephews, Ruben Baldemar Galvan IV, Amber Galvan, Camryn Jae Galvan, Mason Trey Gonzalez, Leaha Janae Galvan, Maverick Jay Galvan, Caileb Matthew Mayorga, Katie M’Kenzie Mayorga, and Alexa Rhaine Mayorga.
