Corpus Christi – Estela A. Constante – 61 years of age entered enteral rest on Monday May 23, 2022, in Alice, Texas. Estela was a native of Orange Grove residing in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on February 6, 1961, in Mathis Texas to Domingo and Consuelo Acuna. Estela was a personal assistant to Hugh Yates for many years. Estela was a caregiver to her mother until her mother was called to heaven. After her mother passing Estela became the Matriarch of the family and was the rock for all the family to find comfort and strength. Estela enjoyed having her children together and spending quality time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed hiking, fishing, and dancing and listening to music.

She is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers Fermin Acuna Sr., Ricardo Acuna Sr., Jesus Acuna and one sister Hilda Acuna Ysasi

Survivors include her husband Jerry Lee Constante of Corpus Christi, Texas, Three sons Jose Jorge (Wendi) Moreno of Gatineau, Qc., Jaime (Kristen) Moreno and Eric Moreno both of Austin, Texas, Six brothers Domingo(Sandy) Acuna of San Antonio Texas, Fred (Yolanda) Acuna of Orange Grove, Texas, Victor (Norie) Acuna of Orange Grove, Texas, Macario (Norma) Acuna of Princeton, Texas, Hector (Laura) Acuna and Ruben Acuna both of Orange Grove, Texas and one sister Anselma Acuna Aguirre of Alice, Texas, Two Grandchildren Nico Banks Moreno and Lucia Banks Moreno, numerous Nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends and relatives at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday May 26, 2022, at Rosas Funeral Home with a holy Rosary recited at 7:00 that evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Friday May 27, 2022, at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Orange Grove, Texas. Burial will follow at the Dilworth Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Lee Constante, Jose Jorge Moreno, Jaime Moreno, Eric Moreno, Christian Aguirre, and Frankie Medina
