DMC inducts two newest “Hall of Fame” members, recognizes 88 “outstanding” students during 70th annual Recognition Ceremony

For over seven decades, the Del Mar College (DMC) campus community has anticipated the annual Recognition Ceremony, an event that celebrates students and educators for their academic achievements, community service and mentorship. With the last “in person” ceremony held three years ago in 2019, this year marks a new beginning as the College returned to Richardson Performance Hall and held its 70th Annual Recognition Ceremony with participants walking the stage to receive their awards.

Alice Independent School District will host three sports camps for students. Lil’ Yote Volleyball Clinic Dates: May 17-19 Ages/Grades: Third grade through eighth grade Times: third - fifth at 5 p.m., and sixth - eighth at 6:30 p.m.

Introducing Izzy the Islander: Same Name, Same Islander Spirit, New Look! San Diego Animal Shelter urges adoptions

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas –Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi has unveiled the updated version of its mascot, Izzy. The debut was held at a May 4 pep rally prior to the South Texas Showdown, the annual baseball rivalry game against University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley.
