Russell Alexander Chase, age 81, passed away May 4, 2022 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born August 16, 1940 in Bangor, Maine to Roland and Pearl Chase. Russell worked for the telephone company for 30 years. He actively served in the United Stated Navy for 4 years and then another 25 years in the National Guard in both Maine and Texas. He had a love for bowling, traveling to play softball, and spending quality time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Pearl Chase; son, Bobby Ray Chase; and brother, Arthur Chase.

Russell is survived by his children, Roland Chase (Elva) of Alice, Russell Chase of Alice, and Tonya Dininno (Randy Hinson) of Orange Grove; daughter in law, Candida Chase of Alice; sister, Sally Walker of Bullhead City, Arizona; nine grandchildren, Joseph David Chase (Vanessa), Joshua Eugene Chase (Rossy), Jacob Chase, Nicholas Chase, Randi Hinson, Clinton Hinson (Kamryn), Jonathon Hinson, Candice Rodriguez (Gilbert), and Sunshine Hinson; greatgrandchildren, Arnold Chase, Emma Chase, Ella Chase, Braxton Chase, Elijah Chase, Raelyn Perez, Landan Hinson, Natalee Hinson, Payton Hinson, Cesar Hinson, Kora Hinson, Todd Cox, Ethan Trevino, Evan Trevino, Adeline Rodriguez, Bailey Myers, Brianna Harper, and Bralyn Cannon; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and his beloved family in Lufkin.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 9, 2022 from 5 p.m. till 6 p.m. at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel. Services to conclude after visitation.
