BBB Warning: Beware of an increase in travel scams during the summer

Maria Alicia Olivares, better known as Alicia, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Petra R. Flores

Petra R. Flores, 95, passed away peacefully in the am of April 12, 2022, as she listened to the morning mass at the San Juan Nursing Home, San Juan Texas. She was born January 2, 1927 in Waco, Texas to Santiago Rivera and Dionicia Curiel. Petra was a devoted housewife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was also a devoted follower of Christ and would pray devoutly for her family’s intentions. She was patient, kind, and loving as she made each one of us feel special.

Raul M. Olivarez

SAN DIEGO - Raul M. Olivarez, age 61, passed away April 15, 2022, in San Diego, Texas with his family around his bed side, after his 3 year battle with cancer. He was born January 20, 1961, in Alice, Texas to Alejandro Olivarez and Rosenda Martinez. Raul was a floor hand in the oil industry and had a gift for carpentry work as well. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as horseback riding, bull riding, riding motorcycles, hunting, and bonfires. He also enjoyed dancing and training horses and was known as an animal whisperer. He will be remembered for his unconditional love for his family and spending quality time with them and being a jokester. He will be missed by all who knew him.
