Musk’s Twitter ideas raise questions

Tesla CEO Elon Musk stands to be the next owner of Twitter, having pledged roughly $44 billion to buy the social platform and take it private. Assuming that happens, next up on his agenda will be planning how to fulfill his promises to develop new Twitter features, open its algorithm to public inspection and defeat “spambots” on the service that mimic real users.

Soil and Water Conservation Week

Agua Poquita Soil and Water Conservation District #321, located in Benavides TX, has partnered with the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board, Association of Texas Soil and Water Conservation Districts, Texas Wildlife Association, and Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association to highlight Soil and Water Stewardship Week and the importance of voluntary land stewardship in Texas. The statewide campaign is April 24 through May 1, and the focus this year is “Healthy Soils, Healthy Life.”

Just because seniors encounter mobility issues as they age doesn’t mean they necessarily need to move to a different home or assisted living facility, say experts. With some organizational tips, tools, and space rearranging, accessible downsizing is possible. h Deborah Gussoff, a Certified Professional Organizer and owner of In Order, Inc., says a large portion of her business is working with baby boomers and seniors who think they have to downsize – typically by paring down their possessions in order to move to a smaller space. But what she calls “rightsizing” might be the best approach. “You can modify the volume of stuff you own to age in place in a safer, easier-to-manage way,” Gussoff advises.
