Chon-Ji Martial Arts Center had several students compete at the Fall 2007 Four Seasons Karate Championship sponsored by Master Ralph Jasche's American Karate Institute in Victoria, Texas. The tournament was held on Oct. 27 and included competition in sparring, forms, weapons, breaking, creative forms and musical forms and included schools from Victoria, Houston, Corpus Christi, Karnes City, San Antonio, Pleasanton, Robstown, El Campo, Edna, Beeville, Alice, and others. Chon-Ji Martial Arts students brought back over a dozen awards.

Lindsey Luera competed in the yellow belt divisinon and was awarded 2nd place in Forms and 3rd place in Sparring. Keegan McCollum also competed in the yellow belt division and brought back 2nd place in Forms and 3rd place in Sparring. Alyssa Albiar and Aryssa Albiar competed in the green belt divisions of their respective age groups with Alyssa winning 1st in Forms and 2nd in Weapons and Aryssa bringing home 2nd in Weapons and 3rd in Forms.

Justin Reyes fought to bring back a 2nd place in the advanced belt division for 11-12 year old boys. Jessica Montemayor, orange belt division, won 1st place in Forms and fought through an injury in her second match to bring back a 2nd place trophy in Sparring.

Jason Bradfute competed in the adult men's division winning 1st in Weapons and 2nd in Sparring. Jessica Montemayor and Alyssa Albiar also competed in the Grand Championship division against all the first place forms competitors. Jason Bradfute had also qualified for the Grand Champions division, however, he was unable to compete due to an injury sustained in sparring.
