KINGSVILLE – The Texas A&M-Kingsville men’s basketball team battled Northeastern State University for 40 minutes and came away with a 58-54 win Monday night.
The Javelinas (8-5) were led by Robert Williams’ 16 points and eight rebounds. Milam had 11 points.
The Lady Javelinas shook off a slow start and went on to beat Lone Star Conference North Division rival Northeastern State 78-72.
Dyana Bullinger led the Lady Javelinas (9-4) in the second half with a 17-point, eight-rebound effort to lead TAMUK’s second-half charge.
