The Alice Lady Coyotes better get used to playing in their home gym, because they're going to be doing a lot of that this week.

Alice is hosting the program's annual Hub City Volleyfest, a 16-team high school volleyball tournament Thursday through Saturday.

The schools will range from Class 5A Ray to smaller 2A schools like Freer and Three Rivers. Still, Alice coach Kim Paisley said the tournament should provide everyone with some tough competition.

"This tournament is going to be equal to the Victoria tournament we played in recently," Alice coach Kim Paisley. "There's going to be tough teams there."
