The Alice Coyotes boys and girls team are more then happy to get back on the hardwood after a long holiday break and some tournament hooping.

After dropping their District 31-4A opener at home against the Laredo Cigarroa Toros, the Coyote boys shook off the rust with a non-district game against state-ranked Mission?Veterans Memorial at the AT&T Center in?San Antonio last weekend.

However, the?Coyotes are idle all this week and play Tuesday at home against Corpus?Christi Flour?Bluff at 7 p.m. in their first disrict game since the holiday break.

The Lady?Coyotes meanwhile, worked out the holiday kinks by participating in the Laredo ISD tournament after a 3-0 start in district play. The girls also play Beeville on Friday before resuming district play on the road Tuesday at C.C. Flour?Bluff.
