Alice runners were among more than 2,500 athletes from schools across Texas who competed at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi's Dugan Track and Soccer Stadium in the annual 2018 Islander Splash cross-country meet Saturday.

Tania Lillich led the Alice girls by placing 55 out of 182 varsity girls runners in the Golf Division. Samuel Salinas paced the Alice varsity boys by placing 87 out of 217 runners in the Gold Division.
