The Alice High School tennis team is about to have a busy couple of days.

Alice, which lost a head-to-head district match against Gregory-Portland at Alice High School Tuesday, is playing a series of matches in just over a week.

On Thursday, the Coyote tennis team is on the road against Calallen. Next week, has Alice facing Laredo Cigarroa on Tuesday and Laredo St. Augustine on Thursday, Both of those matches are at Alice High School.

Alice did have a highlight in the match against Gregory-Portland Tuesday. Alice's No. 1 girls singles player Kendra Hanks won her match. She was also teamed up with Trey Gonzalez-Canales in a hard-fought mixed doubled match.
