Alice High School’s tennis courts were busy last week as a week-long tennis clinic aimed at teaching the basics of the sport to area youngsters while raising money for the Coyote tennis program.

The tennis lessons were taught by Alice High School tennis coach Roel Hinojosa and local tennis coach Melody Garcia, who was an Alice tennis standout in high school.

Hinojosa said that all money raised in the clinic will go to the Alice High School Tennis Activity Fund and the William Adams Middle School tennis program.
