Alice High School senior Criselda Cruz is the owner of another school record.

Cruz broke the Alice High School girls' 100-meter hurdles record at the Tuloso-Midway Tribal Relays Saturday. Cruz took first place in the 100 hurdles Saturday with a time of 15.37, which broke the record set by Alice coach Lisa Cisneros in 1996. Cisneros' record-time was 15.50.

Saturday was also another three-medal day for Cruz. Aside from the 100 hurdles, she cleared 5-6 to win the high jump. She jumped 16-6.5 to win the long jump. She was second in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.37.

Cruz recently broke the Alice High School record in the triple jump.
