The Alice Lady Coyotes ended their 2017 volleyball season on the road with a hard-fought match against the Corpus Christi Ray Lady Texans.

Despite better play than in their first meeting, the Alice girls fell in three games. The contest ended in three games, but the Lady Coyotes made the first and third game interesting.

The Lady Coyotes finished their season with a 3-17 record in District 30-5A.

Against Ray, Gabby Canales had six kills and Megan Lopez had three.

Alyssa Lazo had five assists and Lia Salazar had three.

Meaghan Molina had Alice’s lone ace. Sabrina Cantu led the team with 14 digs while Molina added nine. Lazo also had nine.

Canales and Mireya Villarreal had three blocks. Lopez had two.

The Lady Texans ended their season with an 8-12 district record.
