The Alice High School cross country program competed in its biggest meet so far this season Saturday when they ran in the 2017 Islander Splash Meet at the Dugan Track & Soccer Stadium at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

The meet is considered a preview to the Region IV meet since the annual meet is held on the same site. It's also debatably the hardest course in South Texas.
