The Alice American Little League all-stars won again Sunday morning, and now they’re on their way to the Texas West Junior Division championship.

Alice American advanced to the tournament’s title game in Abilene by dominating Kerrville in the semifinals Sunday morning, 12-1.

Alice’s offensive onslaught was fueled by Jacob Guzman, who drove in five runs. Guzman drove in runs with a double in the second, a double in the third and a single in the fourth.

Isai Campos earned the win the for Alice. He pitched five innings, allowing one run, two hits, and striking out eight.

Josh Moreno led Alice American with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with four stolen bases. Alice American didn't commit a single error in the field.

The Alice American Junior Division all-stars won their first game at the state tournament Saturday by beating Abilene Wylie, 6-5. With the tournament victory, the team of 14- and under Alice boys, advance to the tournament’s semifinal round where they will meet Kerrville at 9 a.m. Sunday. Alice American’s big shot came in the bottom of the seventh inning with the game tied, 5-5. Isai Campos hit the home run to help Alice to the win.
