ALICE, Texas - Asuncion Moscot, 53, of Alice, Texas, passed away Sunday November 4, 2007 in a Corpus Christi hospital. She was a homemaker and dedicated her life to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and a sister.
Survivors include her husband, Josafat Moscot; three sons, Job Moscot of Freer, Texas, and Jeorge A. Moscot and Rene (Crystal) Moscot, both of Alice, Texas; a granddaughter, Iza Mirari Moscot; her sisters, Angelina (Juan) Moscot and Esperanza Flores of Alice, Texas, Avelina Codes, Leonila Ramirez, Rosa Villa and Elosia Morales of Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at Walker-Mora Funeral Home in Alice, with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. that evening. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Las Almas Cemetery in Ben Bolt. Texas.

ALICE, Texas - Ann Ramos, 33, passed away November 4, 2007 in an Alice hospital. She was born April 12, 1974 in Harlingen, Texas, to Guadalupe Ricardo Sr. and Maria Ramos. She was a payroll consultant.
Survivors include her mother, Maria Ramos of Freer; her father, Guadalupe Ramos Sr. of Edinburg; one daughter, Miranda Nichol Ramos of Alice; two sons, Justin Ray Maxwell of Alice and Joshua Don Lee of Freer; five sisters, Laura Stella Cabrera, Elsa Cabrera and Angelica Cabrera, all of Freer; Guadalupe Baldamers of Edinburg, and Gracia Cabrera of Iowa; three brothers, Guadalupe Ricardo Ramos Jr. of Kansas City, Mo., Jose Luis Cabrera of Minnesota and Richard Alex Ramos of Corpus Christi; and her fianc/, Reynaldo Garza of Alice.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 6, 2007 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited that evening at 7 p.m. at the Holmgreen Mortuary Chapel. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 7, 2007 in Roberson-Collins Cemetery in Alice.

ALICE, Texas - Wilda Vivian Riley, 75, passed away November 4, 2007 in an Alice hospital. She was born July 11, 1932 in Huntington, Texas, to Barney and Corine James. She moved to South Texas in 1938. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Olan "Sonny" Riley of Alice; two daughters, Patricia (Larry) Ray of Alice and Debbie (Robert) Garza of Alvin; four sisters, Evelyn Westfall of Odessa, Ernest Jean Reynolds of Pasadena, Claudie Corbitt of Odessa, and Lucy Blundell of Pasadena; four brothers, R. B. James of Alice, Neal Ray James of Edinburg, Herbert James of Pasadena and Michael James of Round Rock; four grandchildren, Larry Olan (Veronica) Ray, George N. (Brandi) Ray, Cortney J. Garza and Andrea J. Garza; two great-grandchildren, Keliegh Ray and Alexas Ray; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Vivian was loved and admired by many. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 6 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, November 7 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. at Holmgreen Mortuary.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at the Holmgreen Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park in Alice.

ALICE, Texas - Jesus Salazar Jr., 79, died Thursday, November 1, 2007 in a local hospital following a sudden illness. He was born to Jesus and Luz Salazar on March 12, 1928 in San Diego, Texas. He was retired from Ford Motors paint and body shop and Duval County.
Survivors include two sons, Jesus (Nora Viera) Salazar III of Corpus Christi, Texas, Juan (Salena) Salazar of San Diego, Texas; two daughters, Irma S. (Jesus) Maldonado of San Diego, Texas, Aida S. (Marvin) Pace of Columbia City, Ind.; five sisters; Paula Vega, Martha Garcia Petra (Ramon) Corona and Tencha Castillo, all of San Diego, Texas, and Estela (Benjamin) Galindo of Calallen, Texas; four granddaughters, five grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
Viewing will be from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at Roberson Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited that evening at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 10 a.m. in the St. Frances De Paula Catholic Church in San Diego, Texas. Burial will follow in the San Diego Cemetery, San Diego, Texas.

LAREDO, Texas - Mrs. Guadalupe Vasquez passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2007 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Graciano and Cresencia Vasquez; sisters, Manuela Tovar and Juanita Vasquez; and a brother, Jose Vasquez.
Survivors include her daughter, Guadalupe (Ramiro Gambi) Gamboa of Corpus Christi, Texas; a sister, Genoveva (Narciso) Ramirez of Laredo, Texas; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a cousin and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2007 and a Vigil for the Deceased will be observed at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston Street. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2007 from the funeral home chapel. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church.
