ALICE, Texas - Aniceta M. Garza, 80, died Tuesday, October 23, 2007 in an Alice hospital after an illness. Born in Concepcion, Texas, she was a resident of Alice, Texas, and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irineo Z. Garza; a son, Baldemar Garza; and a brother, Taurino Muguia.

Survivors include three daughters, Anita (Ram—n) Nava of Alice, Texas, Irene Garcia of Orange Grove, Texas, and Maria Elena (Alfredo) Rogers of Rowlette, Texas; three sons, Alejo (Anna) Garza of Orange Grove, Texas, Hector (Leticia) Garza and Leonel Garza of Alice, Texas; two sisters, Maria A. Morales and Malin Mendoza both of San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, Joe D. Munguia and Agustin R. Munguia, both of San Antonio, Texas; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Walker-Mora Funeral Home Chapel in Alice. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday, October 25, 2007 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Alice with burial following at New Collins Cemetery-Alice.
