SAN DIEGO, Texas - Jorge Aguayo Sr. 58, a lifelong resident of San Diego, Texas, died Saturday, August 11, 2007 after a sudden illness. He was a long time employee with Key Energy Services. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcelino and Cruz Aguayo; his sister Gloria Hernandez; a nephew and a great-grandson.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Diana G. Aguayo of San Diego, Texas; his sons, Jesse (Linda) Garza of Ben Bolt, Texas, Joey Aguayo of Amarillo, Texas, and Jorge (Stephanie) Aguayo of England; his daughters, Nilda Balderas of Amarillo, Texas, Joann (David) Gonzalez of San Antonio, Texas, and Georgette Aguayo of San Diego, Texas; two nephews raised as his sons, Reynaldo (Janie) Hernandez and Alfredo Hernandez, both of San Diego, Texas; a niece, 14 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. on Friday, August 17, 2007 at Garza Funeral Home in San Diego, Texas. Vigil for the deceased will be observed, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. that evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at St. Francis De Paula Catholic Church in San Diego. Burial will follow at the San Diego Cemetery in San Diego, Texas.

FREER, Texas - Viola Serna Garza, 70, passed away after a sudden illness on Tuesday, August 14, 2007, in a Laredo hospital. She was a long time resident of Freer, Texas. She was preceded in death by her her sister Zulema Perez; and a daughter in-law.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Oscar Garza Sr. of Freer, Texas; her two sons, Oscar (Ana) Garza Jr. of Freer, Texas, and Omar (Susan Ellis) Garza of Virginia; her daughter, Vilma (Felix Jr.) Garcia of Laredo, Texas; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2007 at Garza Funeral Home in Freer, Texas. Vigil for the Deceased will be observed, with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. that evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 17, 2007 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Freer, Texas.

Burial will follow at the Hahl Memorial Cemetery in Freer, Texas.
