Alejandro Guzman Jr., 48, passed away June 20, 2013 in Alice, Texas. He was born in Rio Grande City, Texas on April 29, 1965, to Alejandro R. Guzman and San Juana Guzman. He enjoyed to write, draw, riding his motorcycle, roosters, and rock and roll. He was an outgoing person who loved to work outside, joke around and will always be remembered for the smile he always had.
He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Lee Guzman; father, Alejandro R. Guzman Sr.; brother, Gabriel G. Guzman III; and uncle, Gilberto Guzman.
He is survived by his sons, Oscar Rolando Guzman Rivera of Corpus Christi, Texas and Joshua Guzman of Alice, Texas; his mother, San Juana G. Guzman of Alice, Texas; sisters, Leticia Guzman (Abel) Perez of Alice, Texas and Ofemia G. (Daniel) Salas of Petersburg, Texas; brothers, Fernando (Yolanda) Guzman of Alice, Texas, Arnoldo (Delia) Guzman of Deritter, Louisiana, Ricardo (Angie) Guzman of Alice, Texas, Abelino (Melissa) Guzman of Alice, Texas, Arnulfo (Desiry) Guzman of Alice, Texas, and Adrian (April) Guzman of Corpus Christi, Texas; niece and nephews, Roberto Gilberto, Tony, Anna, and Mayo; grandchildren, Ayleen Marie Guzman, Kalia Marie Rivera, Isabel Rivera, and Oscar Armando Rivera; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 24, 2013, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel with a prayer service being held at 7 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow at New Collins Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gilberto Ramirez, Antonio Ramirez, Mayo G. Ramirez, Octavio “Eloy” Lopez, Arnulfo Guzman, and Fernando Guzman.
