Lydia Hernandez Morales, 59, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007.

She was born on Dec. 27, 1947 in Robstown to Jessie James Hernandez and Angelita Anaya Hernandez.

She was a former employee of the Children and Youth Clinic and a medical receptionist at Dr. Mejia's Office. She was also a member of the St. Anthony Crusillistas and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Angelita Hernandez; one brother, Eugenio "Jimmy" Hernandez and one sister, Elisa Salinas.

She is survived by her husband, Carlos Morales of Robstown; one daughter, Amanda Morales of Robstown; one son, Jerardo Morales of Harlingen; two brothers; Jesse H. Hernandez of San Antonio, Fernando (Norma) Hernandez of Corpus Christi, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 26, 2007 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown. The Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Robstown. Interment followed in Memorial Park Cemetery.
