Maria Ana "Anita" Saenz Gonzalez, 79, passed away Saturday July 21, 2007 in a Corpus Christi hospital after a long illness. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Agapito and Leocadia S. Saenz; and a sister Amanda S. Cardenas.
Survivors include her husband, Delfino V. Gonzalez of Premont, Texas; one daughter, Anna Maria Gonzalez Recio of Premont, Texas; two brothers, Leonel S. (Belia) Saenz and Luis S. (Minerva) Saenz, both of Premont, Texas; and three grandchildren.
A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2007 at St. Theresa Catholic Church of Premont.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Premont Cemetery.

PREMONT, Texas - Elmer Dell Hamilton passed into the arms of his Savior on July 1, 2007 in a Corpus Christi hospital. He was born August 22, 1921, in Toyah, Texas, to Dell and Roberts Allen Hamilton. Reared in Kilgore, Texas, he graduated from Kilgore High School where he was active in ROTC and attended Kilgore College and was editor of the yearbook. He took many of the photos of the newly formed Kilgore College Rangerettes now on display in the Rangerette Showcase Museum. During World War II, he was a gunnery instructor in the Army Air Corps.
He married his childhood sweetheart, Minnie Marie Redlinger, on November 7, 1942 in Harlingen. He retired from Sun Oil Company in Premont with 39 years of service after working in the oil fields of West Texas and South Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys and D.D. Hamilton; Ike and Roberta Hull; and brother, William Paul Hamilton.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Minnie R. Hamilton of Premont, Texas; two sons, Rodney A. Hamilton of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Gary D. and wife Beth and one grandchild Lauren Hamilton all of Sanderson, Texas, one brother Mack A. Hamilton and wife Katheryne of Houston, Texas. Nephews and nieces include: Eugene Beall, Michael and Mark Hamilton all of Houston, Texas, Maxine Nance of New Braunfels, Texas, and Dawn Hamilton Montaner of Waco, Texas. Also surviving are several grandnephews and nieces and great-grandnephews and nieces.
Visitation was held Tuesday July 3, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams of Falfurrias.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2007 at the First Baptist Church in Premont, Texas, with the Reverend Noe Ortiz officiating. Burial followed at the Premont Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mike Perez II, Mike Perez III, Marcos Perez, Jim Boykin, Manuel Recio, Gary Witte, Joe Wilkerson and Joe Nance. Eugene Beall sang musical selections with accompaniment by Judy Beall.
A member of the Kingsville Masonic Lodge and an avid photographer, gunsmith, and woodworker, Mr. Hamilton enjoyed traveling with and spending time with his granddaughter Lauren and also enjoyed all his neighborhood "grandchildren."
