    Lytle
    PREMONT - Charline Ivey Lytle, 94, passed away December 16, 2006 in a Corpus Christi hospital. She was born October 7, 1922 in Pocahantas, Ark., to Charlie and Willie Raglin. She was in the apartment management business for 25 years, she was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. Mrs. Lytle was a Sunday School teacher for 10 years, at the Methodist Church.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles (Kathryn) Raglin; her mother, Willie Minnie Raglin; her In-Laws, Leland and Hazel Lytle; two sisters, Quida Smart and Gerldine Smith; a sister-in-law, Beulah Walters and her brothers-in-law; Buford Lytle, Fred Walters, T. B. Moran and Paul Smart.
    Survivors include her husband, Floyd Lytle of Premont; two sons, Larry (Damaris) Lytle of Ft. Worth and Lonnie (Deborah) Lytle of Premont; four sisters, Audrey Moran of Corpus Christi, Verna (Don) Shackelford of Kingsville, Ona (Tom Kelso) Wishard of Premont and Marie Raglin of Los Angeles, Calif.; two brothers, Will (Wilene) Raglin of Mathis and Buster (Judy) Raglin of Phoenix. Ariz.; one granddaughter, Jessica Lytle of Corpus Christi, four grandsons, Quinten, Darren and Preston Lytle of Ft. Worth and Justin (Cindy) Lytle of Corpus Christi.
    Visitation will be Wednesday, December 20, 2006 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday, December 21, 2006 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. that evening at Holmgreen Mortuary in Alice, Texas.
    A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2006 at the Premont Cemetery in Premont, Texas.
    The family requests contributions to the Premont Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 596, Premont, Texas, 78375 or the American Cancer Society, in lieu of flowers. The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to Dr. Hart and Dr. Geddes, the nurses and staff at Kindred and Kingsville hospitals, the Uresti Senior Assistance Center in Kingsville and Rev. Larry McRorey, pastor of the First United Methodist in Alice.

    Morante
    PREMONT, Texas - Alfonso R. Morante, 97, passed away at a Kingsville hospital on December 12, 2006. Survivors include three sons, Johnny Morante and Manuel Morante, both of Premont, Texas, and Antonio Morante of Kingsville, Texas; six daughters: Rosalie Castillo of Falfurrias, Texas, Diana Chapa, Maria Ochoa and Veronica Chapa, all of Premont, Texas, Virginia Cortez of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Candy Shultz of Tallahassee, Fla.; a sister, Maria Banda of Phoenix, Ariz.; and a daughter-in-law.
    Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 15, 2006 at Saint Theresa's Catholic Church in Premont. Burial was at Premont Cemetery.

    Ramirez
    FALFURRIAS, Texas - Marshall "Baby Marshall" L. Ramirez, passed away at a Kingsville hospital on December 12, 2006, at the age of two years.
    Survivors include his mother, Monica Arevalo and his father, Marshall Ramirez both of Falfurrias, Texas; two sisters, Deidre Lee Ramirez and Deandra Lee Ramirez, both of Falfurrias; paternal grandfather, Roberto Ramirez Jr. of Falfurrias; maternal grandparents Robert Jr. and Mary Arevalo of Falfurrias; maternal great-grandfather, Antonio Garza Jr. of Falfurrias; and maternal great-grandparents, Roberto Sr. and Anita Arevalo of Falfurrias. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. on, Saturday December 16, 2006 at The First United Methodist Church in Falfurrias. Burial was at Falfurrias Burial Park.
