CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - Don W. Neal, 58, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at his home after a long illness. He was born August 11, 1949 in Gainesville, Texas. He was a General Contractor for over 30 years and served as a board member of the AGC. He was a member of River Hills Baptist Church and was also a member of the Gideons. He greatly loved his cats, Sweet Baby and Danci. He was preceded in death by a son, Adam Wayne Neal; his paternal grandparents, C. B. and Flora Frances Neal of Gainesville; and his maternal grandparents, Wayne R. and Pearlie Irene Stanley of Gainesville.

Survivors include his wife, Leah Ann Neal of Corpus Christi; his daughters, Trisha Kaye (Craig) Erndt of Alvin, Texas, and Summer (Jason) Oswald of Allen, Texas; his parents, Don L. and Charleen Neal of Alice, Texas; his brother, Steve (Jackie) Neal of Falfurrias, Texas; and his grandchildren, Haley Elizabeth Erndt, Cole Adam Erndt and Baby Girl Oswald.

Visitation with the family present will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home in Corpus Christi.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, February 29, 2008 at River Hills Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Simmons and Pastor Lee McClure officiating. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Jason Oswald, Craig Erndt, Steve Neal, Terry McNatt, Jim Wofford, Fred Wollman, Jeff Cotham and Philip Cotham.

SAN DIEGO, Texas - Petra Rodriguez Trevino, 96, passed away February 27, 2008 in an Alice hospital. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Candelaria Rocha Rodriguez; husband, Felipe Trevino; three brothers, Nazario, Luis, and Luciano Rodriguez; ten sisters, Juanita R. Resendez, Josefa R. Lopez, Anita R. Gonzales, Paulita R. Reyes, Zenaida Elizondo, Andrea Vela, Dominga Herrera, Josefa Mendoza, Celia Sanchez, and Juanita Trevino.

Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, February 29, 2008 at the Emmanuel Bautista Church at Cameron and Hickey Street in Alice, Texas.

A prayer service will be conducted at 3 p.m. that afternoon followed by a funeral service and burial will follow at the New Collins Cemetery in Alice, Texas, officiated by Brother Jose Juan Rodriguez.
