Marvin Lee Muse "Buck" May 20, 1927 - July 3, 2017

Marvin went to be with his Lord at the golden age of 90. He was born in Meridian Mississippi and joined the Navy on his 17th birthday in 1944 and served his first tour. He then enlisted in the Army Air Borne as a paratrooper until he retired in 1968 as a Master Sargent.He was a proud veteran of three wars; WWII, Korea and Vietnam. 

In 1972 Marvin married June Elizabeth Goodman who was the love of his life. They lived in central Louisiana until 1975 when he was hired on with Dowell Services. Dowell transferred him to Alice, Texas. After a couple of years Marvin established Alice Machine and Welding Company. Marvin and Huey operated the business and June ran the office for over 20 years. Marvin was a Shriner and a big supporter of the Shriner's Hospital for Children.

Marvin was preceded in death by his twin sister who died at birth, his sister Gladys Wilson, parents Marvin and Anna Muse, grandchildren Leon Busby, Jr. and Priscilla Busby.

Marvin leaves behind his loving wife June Muse, children Huey (Gail) Goodman of Alice James (Rene) Goodman of Oklahoma and Charlotte (Leon) Busby of Deer Park, Texas. His grandchildren Felicia Goodman (Raymond) Chaney, James Goodman, Morgan Goodman (Chris) Kutach, Tim Buegeler, Kevin (Allison) Buegeler. His great grandhildren Lilieth Stephens, Hudsyn Goodman, Penelope Chaney, Lucille Lockard, Colin Buegeler, Suzie Buegeler an Jonathan Buegeler. 

A Memorial Service for Mr. Muse will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Roberson Funeral Home in Alice, Texas. Following the memorial service, a luncheon will be served at the First Baptist Church of Alice. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Shriner hospital in Marvin's name by calling 1-855-401-4897.
