He was a graduate of Roy Miller High School and started his profession as a painter. In 1980 he and his wife, Hilda became owners of Ramirez Drive Inn in Benavides until 1996. He was an advocate golfer, and loved fishing, hunting, barbequing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Elida S. Morales, 75, passed away on June 27, 2015 in an Alice Nursing Home. Elida was a retired Custodian after 20 years of service with the Alice Independent School District. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Elida loved to dance and also loved her pet dogs.

She was born in Lubbock, Texas on August 9, 1948 to Celia Garza and Adan Trevino. She loved her kids and enjoyed being with her grandkids. She also loved cooking for her family and watching her novelas.

Our beloved Ricardo "Lique" Gonzalez, 84, was born in San Diego, Texas on November 21st 1930. Ricardo went to be with our Lord on June 25, 2015. Ricardo graduated from San Diego High School, he served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, he also served as a Corpus Christi City Councilman and was a lifetime educator; He received his undergraduate degree in education from Texas A&I University in Kingsville, Texas. Ricardo was a man that cherished his family, and friends. Our memory of him will always be engraved in our hearts.
