Range from burglary to forgery to injury to a child

A Duval County grand jury recently issued 28 indictments for charges ranging from burglary of a habitation to injury to a child, according to records released by the district clerk's office Friday.

The following is a list of the indictments.

Joel Reyna was indicted for burglary of a habitation in connection with a Feb. 10 incident in which he allegedly broke into a home and stole keys and a cell phone. Esiquio Chris Garza was indicted for burglary of a building in connection with a March 20, 2006 incident in which he allegedly broke into a Benavides Independent School District building and stole money, a training gun, a projector, and a box of markers. Patrick O'Toole was indicted for burglary of a building in connection with a Jan. 16, 2006 incident in which he allegedly broke into a business and stole copper tubing and a power blower. Luis Gabriel Castillo was indicted for burglary of a building in connection with a Jan. 16, 2006 incident in which he allegedly broke into a business and stole copper tubing and a power blower. Jeffery Louis Freeman was indicted for forgery in connection with a Jan. 28 incident in which he allegedly forged a check for $61. Jeffery Louis Freeman was indicted for forgery in connection with a Jan. 9 incident in which he allegedly forged a check for $37.14. Jeffery Louis Freeman was indicted for forgery in connection with a Jan. 8 incident in which he allegedly forged a check for $37.67. Andres Guajardo was indicted for unauthorized use of a vehicle in connection with a Jan. 26 incident in which he allegedly stole an ATV four-wheeler. Rogelio Arturo Hernandez was indicted for burglary of a habitation in connection with an Oct. 30, 2005 incident in which he allegedly broke into a home. Cristobal Humberto Viramontes-De La Cruz was indicted for theft in connection with a July 19, 2006 incident in which he allegedly stole two ATV four wheelers valued at more than $1,500. Carlos Israel Olvera-Avila was indicted for theft in connection with a July 19, 2006 incident in which he allegedly stole two ATV four wheelers valued at more than $1,500. Rogelio Garcia was indicted for theft in connection with a Feb. 28, 2006 incident in which he allegedly stole a gooseneck trailer valued at more than $1,500 from a roofing company. Celestino Quiroz was indicted for evading arrest in connection with a Sept. 27, 2006 incident in which he allegedly fled from a law enforcement representative. Michelle Lichtenberger was indicted for interfering with child custody in connection with an April 1, 2006 incident in which she allegedly violated a child custody court order in a divorce case. Laura Rubalcaba was indicted for injury to a child in connection with a Dec. 21, 2002 incident in which she allegedly grabbed a child younger than 14 years of age by the neck and threw him to the ground. Juan Rene Sanchez was indicted for injury to a child in connection with a Feb. 26, 2006 incident in which he allegedly struck a child younger than 14 years of age in the head and face. According to court records, Sanchez has prior convictions in 1991 for aggravated assault on a peace officer and in 2003 for terroristic threats. Maricela Garza was indicted for injury to a child in connection with a June 9, 2005 incident in which she allegedly struck a child younger than 14 years of age in the head with a plate. Oscar Adrian Sanchez Jr. was indicted for injury to a child in connection with a May 6, 2006 incident in which he allegedly struck a child younger than 14 years of age with a hammer and burned her with a cigarette. Oscar Adrian Sanchez Jr. was indicted for injury to a child in connection with a May 6, 2006 incident in which he allegedly struck a second child with a hammer and burned him with a cigarette. Oscar Adrian Sanchez Jr. was indicted for injury to a child in connection with a May 6, 2006 incident in which he allegedly burned a child younger than 14 years of age with a cigarette. Julio Benavides Jr. was indicted for injury to a child in connection with a Dec. 5, 2005 incident in which he allegedly grabbed a child younger than 14 years of age by the neck and struck him with a cattle prod. Bruno Cantu Sr. was indicted for injury to a child in connection with a May 30, 2006 incident in which he allegedly grabbed a child younger than 14 years of age by the leg and scratched her on the face. Belen Guerrero was indicted for injury to a disabled person in connection with an Oct. 5, 2006 incident in which she allegedly struck a disabled man in the legs and head with her fists and cane. Roxanne Campos Rodriguez was indicted for two counts of abandoning a child in connection with an April 8, 2006 incident in which she allegedly left two children younger than 15 years of age in a public street without supervision. Cleto Perez Jr. was indicted for driving while intoxicated with child passenger in connection with an April 12 incident in which he allegedly drove while intoxicated with a child younger than 15 years of age in the vehicle. Armando Banegas was indicted for driving while intoxicated in connection with a Jan. 15 incident in which he allegedly was driving while intoxicated. According to court records, Banegas was convicted of driving while intoxicated previously in 1995. Jose Luis Garcia was indicted for one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury in connection with a March 14 incident in which he allegedly struck a woman with a baseball bat. Joel Armando Leal was indicted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with a March 5, 2006 incident in which he allegedly struck a man in the head with a pool stick.
