Law enforcement personnel raided a home on Angelina Street for the second time in three months Tuesday, and once again found drugs in the home.

The Alice Police Department and the Jim Wells County Sheriff's Department conducted the joint operation Tuesday, when they executed a "no-knock" search warrant on a home in the 500 block of Angelina Street.

Investigators reportedly discovered three grams of cocaine, under two ounces of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a handgun in the home.

Two residents of the home, Valerie Garcia, 23, and Juan Perez, 26, were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

A third individual who was in the home at the time of the raid was arrested for outstanding warrants from Jim Wells County. That subject was identified by law enforcement as Armando Naranjo, 39.

Four young children who were in the home at the time of the raid were released to the custody of their grandmother, officials said.

Tuesday's operation was the second raid by law enforcement on that home in three months.

In September, the Alice/Jim Wells County Task Force executed a search warrant on the home and discovered a small amount of cocaine. Valerie Garcia was also in the home at the time of that raid, and was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
