Police are searching for a vehicle that struck an individual and did not stop to render aid.

Police said that on Tuesday about 4 p.m., a white Ford four-door with dark tinted windows, possibly a Crown Victoria, was traveling on the 1000 block of South Park when it hit an man.

The man sustained minor injuries and is doing fine, police said.

“Basically, the young man was walking off the street,” Police Chief Danny Bueno said. “Luckily, he didn’t get killed.”

Bueno is asking the public for assistance in locating the Ford vehicle that hit this individual.

Lt. Santiago Solis with the police department said the car involved might have some damage.

“The car may have damage to the front area or the hood of the vehicle,” he said.
