A 41-year-old Jim Wells County man was arrested early Friday morning, when officers with the Jim Wells County Task Force executed a "no-knock" search and arrest warrant on his home in Tecolote.
According to Jim Wells County Sheriff's Department reports, officers executed the warrant on a home in the 100 block of County Road 122 shortly after midnight Friday.
A search of the home, which was occupied by a family and several small children at the time, revealed four grams of cocaine.
A man identified as Javier Gonzalez, 41, was arrested at the scene.
Officials with the Jim Wells County Sheriff's Department said Friday the raid was the result of a six-month investigation, and Gonzalez is believed to have sold illegal drugs from the home.
Gonzalez was charged with possession of a controlled substance over four grams and was transported to the Jim Wells County jail. He was released on bond Friday.
