Will discuss economic incentive to CARBO Ceramics, Inc.

The Jim Wells County Commissioners' Court will have a regular meeting Monday at 10 a.m. at the county courthouse.

On the 18-item agenda, the court will consider funding for La Paloma Emergency Medical Services, approve the appointment of a director to the Coastal Bend Housing Finance Corporation, possibly approve a tax incentive for CARBO Ceramics, Inc. for $3,150, discuss the county's travel policy, consider the road and bridge fee and crossing guard program fee for 2008, discuss the Cops In School Programs in Ben Bolt Palito-Blanco and Orange Grove school districts for the 2007-2008 school year, approve an agreement for auctions for abandoned vehicles, consider advertising for bids for construction of a new building at the Jim Wells County Fairgrounds and renewing the ambulance contract. The meeting is open to the public.
