Crimes range from kidnapping to money laundering

A Duval County grand jury recently issued a number of indictments for charges ranging from kidnapping to money laundering, according to information released by the 229th District Clerk's office Thursday.

The clerk's office made public 20 indictments handed down by the grand jury June 26, including some for charges going back to 2003.

According to the clerk's office, the following indictments were issued by the grand jury.

Regino Salinas Jr. was indicted for violation of a protective order in connection with a Feb. 17, 2006 incident in which he allegedly assaulted a woman who had a protective order against him. Ernesto Andres Cardosa was indicted for money laundering in connection with a March 8, 2005 incident in which he allegedly was found to be in possession of more than $20,000 identified as proceeds from the sale of narcotics. James Patrick Dunbar was indicted for one count of theft and one count of burglary of a habitation in connection with an April 20, 2003 incident in which he allegedly broke into a home and stole furniture. Luis Daniel Hinojosa was indicted for theft in connection with a Sept. 27, 2006 incident in which he allegedly stole several exotic birds from their owner. According to court records, Hinojosa has a prior conviction for burglary of a building in 2002. Alejandro Lopez III was indicted for theft in connection with a Sept. 27, 2006 incident in which he allegedly stole several exotic birds from their owner. Horacio Antonio Trigo was indicted for theft in connection with a Nov. 17, 2006 incident in which he allegedly stole an accordion and a DVD player from a woman. Raul A. Trevino was indicted for theft in connection with a Nov. 17, 2006 incident in which he allegedly stole an accordion and a DVD player from a woman. According to court records, Trevino was previously convicted in 1995 for burglary of a building. Jorge Luis Garza Jr. was indicted for possession of cocaine in connection with a March 4, 2005 incident in which he allegedly was found to be in possession of more than one gram of cocaine. Rogelio Salinas was indicted for possession of cocaine in connection with an April 30, 2005 incident in which he was allegedly found to be in possession of less than one gram of cocaine. Mario Alberto Camarillo was indicted for evading arrest in connection with a Sept. 5, 2006 incident in which he allegedly fled from a peace officer who was attempting to detain him. Erica Ann Lara was indicted for one count of abandoning or endangering a child and one count of retaliation in connection with an August 7, 2005 incident in which she allegedly left her daughter, who was younger than 15 years old at the time, in a roadway unsupervised and threatened someone who reported the incident. Rafael Salinas was indicted for aggravated assault in connection with a Nov. 5, 2006 incident in which he allegedly used an axe handle to threaten a man. Richard Lee Galvan was indicted on one count of criminal mischief and one count of deadly conduct in connection with a July 14, 2005 incident in which he allegedly shot at a vehicle. Luis Daniel Hinojosa was indicted for retaliation in connection with an Oct. 12, 2006 incident in which he allegedly threatened a San Diego policeoOfficer. Roel Villarreal was indicted on one count of injury to a child and one count of evading arrest in connection with a Sept. 12, 2005 incident in which he allegedly grabbed and pushed a girl under the age of 14 years and fled from two peace officers who were attempting to arrest him. Juan Manuel Gamez Jr. was indicted on one count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, one count of aggravated kidnapping, one count of aggravated assault and one count of aggravated robbery in connection with a June 15, 2003 incident in which he allegedly kidnapped a man at gunpoint and stole his vehicle. Jessie James Munoz was indicted for possession of marijuana in connection with an April 22, 2007 incident in which he allegedly was found to be in possession of more than 50 pounds of marijuana. Joel H. Garcia Sr. was indicted for possession of marijuana in connection with an April 22, 2007 incident in which he allegedly was found to be in possession of more than 50 pounds of marijuana. Blenda Villarreal was indicted for possession of cocaine in connection with a Feb. 22, 2007 incident in which she allegedly was found to be in possession of more than four grams of cocaine. Leonel Garcia III was indicted for possession of marijuana in connection with an April 22, 2007 incident in which he was allegedly found to be in possession of more than 50 pounds of marijuana.
