Will discuss athletic insurance, review bids

The Alice ISD School Board has a full agenda for its regularly scheduled meeting tonight.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the administrative board room.
A renewal is up on the agenda for athletic and training supplies and equipment for 2007-2008 under the meeting's action items.
The board will also consider approving student/athletic insurance for the upcoming school year.
As part of the ongoing demolition of the areas around William Adams Middle School, the board will consider bids to remove and relocate the concrete light standards from WAMS to Alice High School.
The board will also consider a resolution supporting this year's Operation Graduation.
As part of election duties on Saturday, the board will consider approving an emergency appointment of an election judge for the Nayer precinct.
As part of the informational items to be presented at the meeting, the board will discuss the realignment plans currently being considered by UIL and several legislative and curriculum updates.
The board will also meet in closed session to discuss personnel issues.
The meeting is open to the public.
