More than 50 children have been coming each day to the pool since its opening the second week of June, manager Andy Bierstedt said.

"Last summer we had to dismantle the diving board due to health regulations so the water slide was added and the kids have really been enjoying it," she said. "It's very well made and should last for many years."

The pool is free to the public and is open Tuesday through Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m., and is closed Mondays.

Aerobics are also held each Tuesday and Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. Also Tuesday and Wednesday, adults only may swim from 7 to 8 p.m.

Parties may be reserved by calling 394-5051. The pool will be open until Aug. 19.
