The Jim Wells County Fair Parade will be making its way through town Wednesday beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Organizers invite Jim Wells County residents to the parade.

The Jim Wells County Fair Parade will feature the Parade Marshal, Pct. 1 County Commissioner Zenaida Sanchez. The parade will also highlight the queen contestants' floats along with non-profit organizations' floats, the Alice High School and William Adams Middle School cheerleaders, AHS Strutters, dignitaries such as county officials and city officials, along with bands from the surrounding area including Alice and Orange Grove.

The parade will line up alongside Schallert Elementary School. The parade route will begin next to the school on Texas Boulevard traveling south, then will turn right on Third Street in front of William Adams Middle School and proceed to Cameron Street, traveling south until it hits Main Street, and go west towards the downtown area and finish on Kentucky Street.

Organizers welcome spectators to bring their lawn chairs.
