Century 21 Hallmark office celebrated a milestone of $4 million in sales for the month of October.
The Alice office has nine real estate agents.
"Through a lot of hard work and good agents, we've become number one," said Bruce Menking, a realtor who specializes in farm and ranch property.
Another agent agreed.
"I've enjoyed watching it grow, I've enjoyed it," said Cynthia Carrasco, Century 21 agent for residential property.
The Alice branch of nine agents collaborated their sales efforts to reach the $4 million mark for October. The milestone is the first for the Alice office. The Century 21 Hallmark office is ranked 11 out of 140 offices in the region. Out of anywhere from 1,600 to 2,000 realtors throughout South Texas and parts of Louisiana, Menking is at 53 with Carrasco at 79, putting two agents in the top 100.
"It looks like we are going to have two master agents, possibly three in little Alice where some offices maybe have one," said Century 21 owner Ed Price. "It's very good and it shows a lot of strength."
The agents celebrated their achievements with a dinner at the Alice Country Club.
Century 21 Hallmark has three offices located in Alice, Calallen and southside of Corpus Christi. The offices specialize in farm and ranch, residential and commercial properties. The company will be expanding their services to include property management by January 2008.
Price said that their success is attributed to putting people first.
"It's fun when you are working with people," he said. "Especially when you help them fulfill their dreams."
