Two separate arsons, one of which that left extensive damage to a house porch over the weekend and are being blamed on juveniles.

According to police reports, Sunday about 1:35 p.m., officers responded to a structure fire in the 2100 block of Joslin Street.

When police arrived, a man was using a water hose to put out the fire on the front porch, the report said. The fire was set on an old mattress that was on the front porch of the house and the porch sustained damage, report said.

The report continued to say that witnesses saw three male juveniles at the residence prior to the fire.

No one was arrested and the case is under investigation by the police. On Saturday, juveniles were observed near the creek area in 500 block of Lucero Street throwing paper into the large drainage ditch and setting it on fire, the police report said.  When police arrived, the juveniles were gone and a small fire was located in the concrete drainage area.
