Was on N.C.'s Top 10 Most Wanted list
KINGSVILLE, Texas -Border Patrol agents assigned to the Kingsville, Texas, station of the Rio Grande Valley Sector arrested a Honduran national wanted as one of North Carolina's 10 Most Wanted criminals.
The arrest occurred when Border Patrol agents encountered the subject in an area along the railroad tracks near Sarita, Texas.
Agents approached the subject and questioned him regarding his citizenship.
The subject, who identified himself as a Honduran national, did not possess any United States immigration documents that lawfully allow him to be in or remain in the United States.
During processing, record checks identified the Honduran national as having an outstanding Warrant of Arrest issued by the state of North Carolina for homicide, kidnapping and sexual offenses.
The Honduran man was turned over to Kenedy County Sheriff's Department for extradition to North Carolina.
