On Sunday, August 26, 2018, at approximately 9 a.m. Officer Jon Jaramillo observed a red in color Ford Mustang bearing Texas License Plate #HJF3037 traveling Northbound on 1200 Block of N. Stadium St., at a high rate of speed (40 MPH in a 30 MPH). He proceeded to initate a traffic stop on vehicle activating my red and blue emergency lights in marked black and white Patrol Unit #162

Jaramillo made contact with the driver of the vehicle on the 1300 Block of Northwood St., where he observed the Driver step outside the vehicle with his hands raised stating "I have a warrant." He continued to make contact with the driver and identified the male driver as Angel Watrin III. Watrin's Information was given to dispatch to check for warrants. A warrant was confirmed by dispatch for Possession of Marijuana. Watrin was then placed in hand restraints and assisted Watrin into the back of Partol Unit #162.

Watrin was the transported to JWSO Jail for processing and booking. While at the jail jaramillo was informed by Officer Montemayor that Angel Watrin assaulted his girlfriend causing bodily injury, just prior to the traffic stop with Watrin. Officer Montemayor advised that Watrin left the scene in his red Mustang at high rate of speed, burning out the tires in front of girlfriend's house. Watrin was also charged with Assault causing Bodily Injury Family Violence.

Watrin was release to the County Jail for incarceration. The red Ford Mustang was inventoried and impounded by a wrecker.
