Edinburg, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents continue rescue efforts in the Rio Grande Valley.

On Thursday, agents assigned to the Falfurrias station received a 911 call from the Brooks County Sheriff’s Office regarding two lost subjects. Border Patrol Search Trauma and Rescue (BORSTAR) operators responded and rescued the two men.

On Friday, Falfurrias agents rescued three Nicaraguan nationals after responding to a 911 call received by the Brooks County Sheriff’s Office.

Saturday, Rio Grande City agents encountered a group of 13 illegal aliens. Several of the subjects stated that they were stung by bees and six of them had to be transported to a local hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

Earlier today, Falfurrias agents rescued five illegal aliens after responding to a 911 call from the Brooks County Sheriff’s Office.

All subjects will be processed accordingly.
